Who is selling

These terms apply to every purchase made on this website. You can always find them at this address, and they also come with the order confirmation email.

The pieces

We sell used and period furniture and objects. Every piece is one of a kind: its page describes the condition, the measurements and the signs of wear or the defects we have seen, with photographs. Please read it carefully before you buy.

When you start paying, the piece stays reserved for you for a few minutes, so nobody else can buy it in the meantime.

How the contract is made

1. You put one or more pieces in the basket and give your details and the delivery address.
2. You accept these terms and, with a separate tick box, the 12-month guarantee for used goods (see below).
3. You pay with one of the methods offered.

The contract is made when we receive the payment. We immediately send you a confirmation email with the summary of your order, these terms and the information on withdrawal.

Prices

All prices are in euros and include VAT. [Regime IVA dei pezzi]

The delivery cost depends on the country and on the piece: you see it on the piece’s page and in the summary before you pay. The total you pay is the one in the summary, with no costs added afterwards.

Payment

You can pay by card or with the digital wallets offered at checkout (for example Apple Pay or Google Pay), handled by our payment provider Stripe. We never see or keep your card details.

You can also pay by bank transfer: in that case we keep the pieces reserved for the time shown on the payment page while we wait for the money to arrive. If the transfer does not arrive in time, the order is cancelled and the pieces become available again.

Delivery

We ship from Italy to the countries listed on the Delivery page. We prepare and pack the piece within a few working days; the times shown on the piece’s page are estimates. For some large or fragile pieces, delivery is agreed with a quote before the purchase.

On delivery, check the packaging: if it is damaged, write it on the courier’s receipt and send us a photo within a few days.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason. There is no right of withdrawal if you buy as a business or professional, for example by giving a VAT number. You can do it online from the Withdrawal page or as explained on the Right of withdrawal page. You pay for returning the piece; we refund the price you paid and the standard delivery.

Guarantee for used goods

Our pieces are used goods. For used goods the law allows the legal guarantee of conformity to be reduced to 12 months from delivery, but only if the buyer expressly agrees (Article 133(4) of the Italian Consumer Code, Legislative Decree 206/2005 as amended by Legislative Decree 170/2021). Personal data

We use your data only to handle the order, the delivery and the payments, as explained in the privacy notice.

Governing law and competent court

The contract is governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer living in another country of the European Union, you keep the protection of the rules of your own country that cannot be set aside by contract.

For disputes with a consumer, the competent court is the court of the place where the consumer lives. For purchases made by businesses or professionals, the competent court is the court of Turin (Italy).

These terms are published in Italian, English, French and German: if the versions differ, the Italian version prevails, without prejudice to the mandatory rules that protect consumers.

To settle a dispute without going to court, you can turn, on a voluntary basis, to the mediation service of the Turin Chamber of Commerce.

Changes

We may update these terms. Each order is governed by the version in force on the day of purchase, the one we send you with the confirmation email.
