Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to browse the catalogue and buy on this website, including with assistive technology, with the keyboard only, with enlarged text or with reduced motion. We publish this statement on our own initiative.

Conformance status

We use the WCAG 2.1 guidelines at level AA as our reference, which are the web requirements of the European standard EN 301 549. The website conforms on the basis of automated and scripted checks; a manual check with a screen reader is planned. The limitations we know about are listed below.

How we checked

On 5 October 2026 we checked every type of page in the shop (catalogue, object pages, search, saved pieces, basket and payment, order, withdrawal, account, newsletter, legal pages and error pages) in Italian and in English, and every screen of the management area, at phone and computer sizes.

• All WCAG 2.1 level A and AA rules of the automated tool axe-core.
• Keyboard-only use: a link to skip to the content, the focus always visible, no traps, windows that close with Esc and return the focus to where you started.
• Content readable without horizontal scrolling at a width of 320 pixels and at 200% zoom.
• Text with increased line, letter and word spacing, with nothing cut off.
• No animation when the device asks for reduced motion.

The last check found no problems. The 320-pixel width was also checked in French and in German.

Known limitations

• We have not yet done a full check with a screen reader (VoiceOver on iPhone, TalkBack on Android).
• The French and German pages have the same structure as the pages we checked, but on them we only checked the 320-pixel width.
• The payment form and the quick payments are provided by Stripe and we have not checked them ourselves. If they get in your way, write to us: we will help you complete your purchase another way.
• Automated checks cannot judge everything: for example whether a photo description is useful to someone who cannot see the photo.
